Cup result bug

I tried the new game engine for the cup results tonight and uploaded them thinking everything was fine. Then I read a few posts on the notice board and realised everything was not fine.

Basically, there were far too many shock results. I can't give any details regarding the bug itself for obvious reasons but I have managed to fix it and due to the severity of the problem I decided that the matches had to be re-done. Shock results are supposed to happen but not on the scale they did!

Due to re-running the cup games, I had to restore the database to before the cup matches were played and this has meant that any manager who logged on to see the 'fake' results will have lost any team selections, transfer submissions or message posts that they submitted. I apologise for this but I'm sure you will agree that it is better to have the correct results than the ones that were generated. There could have been some interesting cup finals this year just due to that one bug!

Hopefully all is well now. These problems are only occuring because of my attempts to improve the game.
