Firstly, happy new year to you all. Let's hope 2022 is a vast improvement on the last 2.

A big task I am looking to get completed soon is the merging of the matches into the process that runs briefly every evening so that they all run as intended at the same time, and, more importantly for me, the matches get played without my involvement.

This will mean I need to synchronise the timings and, initially, use a time in the middle of the day, when I can fix any issues that may have arisen.

I'm currently thinking that 2pm would be a good timeslot where the site runs its match playing and transfer updates together (obviously only match days for the match playing). If this seems to be OK after a few months, then I may well put it later.

I'm not sure exactly when I will try this yet, but it may be as early as next week. I'll make sure the 'match' times are correct, as that is the important aspect.

Basically, the process that runs around 8ish will be stopped at some point and moved to an earlier time, and will include the matches.

Do let me know if you see any issues but, hopefully as will be smooth......
