New financial data

Over the last couple of days I have been tweaking the database a little more and finalising something I started a while ago.

I have split player names into first and last names so that I can use just last names on certain pages. I haven't decided where yet but this aligns up with the short team names I have also implemented in the database (also not being used yet).

Expect parts of the site, both future and current, to have a better layout in some cases.

This explains the bug that some people saw last night which was pointed out to me earlier today - now fixed!

I have also completed implementation of the financial data per week. Gone has the ground maintenance that has been a feature since season 1 and in is now a stadium maintenance to replace it and staff salaries to pay for all the non playing staff at your club. Both these are fixed figures depending on your division.

These are higher expenditures than the previous maintenance but this is balanced by the fact the ticket prices went up and prize money was increased. It is also balanced by the new merchandising profit you will get each week - this will decrease as the season goes on.

Hopefully there are more changes to come soon.
