Team name changes

Over the next couple of weeks, I am going to be cleaning up and modernising the team names in the game.

That is because several teams have gone bust, merged or entered the top division in their country and to keep it fresh and have the most popular teams possible I feel it needs to be done.

The Belgian, Romanian and English leagues are all fine at the moment so it is the other 7 I shall be looking at.

Details of the team changes are going to be posted on the development blog for any comments. I'm showing the full team names on there but part of the job I am doing when updating the names is also providing shorter names (i.e. AC Milan to Milan and Manchester United to Man Utd) which will come into play on various pages of the site once I have been through all countries.

Once I have done these then I intend to get back on with other changes on the game and I'm thinking of getting the new positions into play as that will be how the game engine is supposed to be. If you haven't selected any new positions for your players then now is the time to do it otherwise it will be done for you.
