I have finally arrived at the last stage of converting the transfer system over before I can start on other game areas.

You will now see a Transfer Pool option on the left hand menu. The transfer actions and transfer list options will be removed over the next few days. They have been left just so the transfer list can be used in its current format for at least this week and possible next week as well.

By then, the transfer pool should be fully in play. Once the transfer list has been removed, Available players will be renamed to be the transfer list. There is further explanation of this on the previous news article.

The transfer pool is just an alternative version of the transfer list. Players don't have minimum bids anymore and there is a charge for using it. Full details are available in the rules.

Alongside this is a change to the free transfer system - you can give free transfers at any time now but there will be a cost to do so.

There are some changes here that you may not necessarily agree with. However they are all geared up to further changes to the game that will come along in time. Plus, they may also be tweaked now and then depending on how they go.

I'm hoping that now I have done the complex changes, I can make a start on the other parts of the game that need updating (which is most of them) more easily now, as they shouldn't be too taxing - well not until I get to the new match reports anyway ;-)
