Unfortunately, my memory failed me on Christmas Eve and I ended up forgetting to run the cup matches. I then wasn't in a position to run the matches until today (27th), which I have just done.

This means it is a bit late to have the league matches tomorrow. Alongside, knowing some managers are unable to access the game over the Christmas period, I have decided to leave the league games until next Friday (4th Jan) with cup games continuing on the Monday afterwards.

Please note I have changed the deadline time for Monday's to be 5pm for the foreseeable future as well.

The good news is that cup matches are, at the moment, being run using the new code as I have had a bit of free time recently (mainly last Sunday). It means I have to do a bit of work every weekend for the time being to make sure all is well as the European games are a bit more complex regarding structure - groups and 2 legged games for example, but throughout the season it will get easier for me.

This means I can get onto actual improvements that you will see so hopefully there will be some noticeable differences in early 2008.
