Nasik signs

Rovers can now confirm the signing of Nasik on loan for six weeks. The young player has arrived from Portugal and it's hoped his skill on the write wing will be valuable. He's in the lineup for the first match of manager McNamara's reign against Crawley Town and is lightly to be a regular in the first team for the six weeks he's at the club. At only 23 Nasik still has a lot to prove but McNamara is pleased with the signing and hopes if the loan works out for the six weeks that there might be a possibility to take him next season for a longer spell. McNamara said the following.

"Makan is a good player with some good skill, he's going to be a fantastic player for us on the write wing and we're hoping that he can produce the goods for us in the upcoming matches he will play in. I understand that he'll need time to settle and get use to his new team mates plus a potential Language problem but we're confident that he can do a job for the club. He's a player who's keen to get first team football and we hope that he's going to be the first of a few loan signings that we're trying to bring in. The match against Crawley will be an interesting one, it's my first game in charge and I am still getting a feel for things here, I hope that the players will respond well to my tactics and that it'll be a good game. we beet them in the previous fixture so hopefully we can do the same again. My aim with only three weeks of the season left is to try and finish as high as possible so that we can then get ready for next season when we hope to start making the team our own."
