Mystify Soccer - Player salaries

Player salaries
I have been monitoring finances over the last few weeks and have realised that there is too much money coming into the game and so I have reviewed my original plans for the game and realised I have not got the player salaries anywhere near right.
They are supposed to be much higher. Ticket prices are also supposed to be higher but not to the extent there is as much money in the game as there is. Therefore I need to correct it. I did wonder why, when I launched the new game engine, I lowered the ticket prices from my original plan and now I know - it looks like I should just have increased the salaries instead! My mistake but I suppose that's what I get for implementing too much at once.
I have also decided to change when salaries are calculated. At the moment they change weekly, but that is obviously unrealistic, so players are going to be provided with a salary at the start of the season that then sticks with them until the beginning of the next season.
This is actually being brought in now so the player salaries currently set are going to be frozen until the season end. They are being set at this season's rates. The only caveat to this is youth players. On promotion, they are going to be given a correct salary using next season's rates.
I will then monitor it again and at some point I will increase ticket prices as appropriate. Until then you shall have to be a little more cautious with your spending.
Two other things have also been implemented into the game. One is that transfer and loan requests over 8 weeks old are now automatically rejected and the other is a minor change to the managers where you can now create a 'friends' list.
I am looking at further changes including the ability to select your penalty taker which I am hoping could even be implemented in the next few days and also an improved match report so you can see when sending offs and substitutes occurred. this latter one will take me a while and you will probably see other changes in first.
Behind the scenes I am also tweaking the game engine as well - it's slowly getting to the stage I want it to be but I know there's more work yet. I will inform you of important changes but nothing that explains how the engine actually works.
