OK so one or two things didn't quite work as planned.
Some of you have probably worked out which bits but here are the bugs and associated fixes.
The played/scored stats for players were wrong and players had been marked as suspended or injured when they weren't. I have resolved the stats fully and along with this, the suspensions. Injuries I have removed from this week so no players should have been injured in training or matches. I have fixed the bug for next week (and the cup games) though.
Youth expenditure was defaulting back to £200. Any youth training this week was done at £200 per player. I have resolved the issue for next week.
Player fitness - didn't change this week. I will leave at 100 for everybody so all is fair. It has been fixed for next week though.
Gate money in the league is now only paid to home teams - this is actually correct but I haven't updated the rules. They will be corrected when I next update the site.
Team selection - may have cleared some players by error this week but normally it will retain your previous selection for you - only removing injured and suspended players. This may be causing some confusion. Let me know if I am wrong here though and there is actually an issue.
That is all I have found so far. Please bear with me while I sort through the processes. There are still lots of improvements I want to build in, including some things managers have posted on the notice board, but I'm trying to do it gradually - this has been the biggest change in years and with the above issues you can see why gradual is better.
Also, I really don't see every post on the notice board so if you have ideas or problems you are better to contact me direct. I won't be making any more major changes for a few weeks though as I need to make sure everything recently implemented works as it should first.
I also guess some of you don't like the new system. It had to change and the development blog has the reasons why - the previous engine was far too simplistic and teams full of 20 rated players were winning everything - now everybody has more of a chance and there isn't a definite best tactic as there was previously.
I will not be putting player ratings back in. If the game doesn't go forward as I hope then I'll just end up with more free time......
