OK, for my first error, I had the player valuations wrong but I have now corrected them.

Although they seem lower, that is only because the best skill score is now 100 and old 20 rated players tend to have been assigned skills of 80. The nearer a player is to 100, the quicker their value will rise. If you have players with skills of 80, just see what happens when they reach 81.

If you feel like you wasted money on the old game engine by purchasing 20 rated players just before the end of last season then don't. The financial structure of the game is changing and your players are still the best in the game. Get their skills into the 90s and their value should increase dramatically. Along with the increased prize money that has been built into the cups and will be built into the league, these players should help you win back any loss.

The reason I have not put 20 rated players to 100 is so that you all now have some improvement capability. It would be no challenge to have set them nearer to 100 as their were too many 20 rated players in the game.
