Further site development work & Finance tweaks

Just another update regarding the new site in case anybody thinks it's all gone quiet.

It's progressing very nicely at the moment - I am currently working through the last of the transfer pages, and then I need to do the forum page before I take stock and see where I go next.

You'll be pleased to know I'm fixing one or two anomalies as I go through - including things nobody has even reported as not working correctly...

My plan is that this may well be something properly usable within the next few months, depending on real-life work!

I'm excited about finishing it off because I can then finally start working through a lot of improvements I've wanted to add to the game for a while and finally can stop worrying about having to put sticking plasters on my current code as technology around the site improves.

On a longer-term plan, the season ends this week, and I will be implementing my next financial changes in my plan for a longer-term balance, so don't be too surprised when general financial data makes movements. This is normally something that brings a few complaints, but to get the game where I want it to be, these are necessary manipulations. It's likely there will need to be similar changes at the end of the next 2 seasons before I am happier to go back to minor ones.

Needless to say, they are fair even if they feel like they aren't in some cases. There is a plan, even if it may look random.

So financial changes at the end of the season and a new site hopefully during next season, and then hopefully, I can find time for tangible improvements.
