Site transfer

This afternoon saw the website and associated database transferred to a new server.

I'm not expecting it to be faster but I am hoping it will be more reliable after various sporadic downtime over the last few years. If it's faster then that is just a bonus.

The one thing that may not work correctly now is the 'on site' functionality. This is because the site is now load balanced between 2 servers and thus each server may store different users. When I get chance I shall look into a way around this.
