New look match reports

Just a quick update for you regarding changes to Mystify Soccer.

As you may be aware, since the site was re-designed to its current format, I have been working on converting the 'game engine' code over to a format I can manage more easily. This will then enable me to make improvements and additions to the game.

I am now at the stage where I have managed to convert a good section of the old game code over to the newer format. To be precise, the league matches, week end processes (rating changes, financial details etc) and transfers have been done and the cup matches and end of season process (promotion, relegation, prize money etc) have not yet been started.

What this means in terms of game functionality is nothing - everything will work the same. However, I am now writing the league match reports to the database instead of straight to a HTML file and this means that I can change the match report display as, and when, required (league matches only for now). Basically, from the week that I use this new code, the league match reports on the site will be displayed in whatever format the site requires - if the site design changes, all the league match reports will too. Older match reports will stay in the current 'black' format and will forever because I'm not going historically through them all to put them into the database. Cup matches will also use the 'black' display for the time being.

I'm hoping that this new code is used for this weekends matches, depending on the time I have free - I may even decide to delay the playing of league matches until Saturday morning so that I'm not rushing them for the first week so if there's a delay then you know why.

Hopefully all will go well and I can then start on changing the cup matches over!
